Objectives:
1.  Save your work to One Drive for easy access later.
2.  Download your work from a different computer.
​3.  Email your work to Mr. Vela

Today's Lesson:

Today, you will be using One Drive, a really useful tool to save your work and access it from anywhere in the world as long as you have a computer.  You will also be emailing me your work from Friday so that I can grade it.  If you are not familiar with One Drive or Outlook, today you will learn a lot.

Step 1:  Upload your document to One Drive


Step 2:  Download your document to your Documents folder.


Step 3:  Email your document to Mr Vela.

Adding Images in HTML

Objectives:
1.  Add a picture to a web page using html.
2.  Debug broken code.

Today's Lesson

Hello, everyone.  Today you'll learn how to add images to websites using a new tag, <img/>.  Second, you'll fix broken code that is making a web page not show images.  Third, you'll download a picture you want and add it to a webpage.  Pretty cool stuff!

Step 1:  Go to Unit 2 -- Lesson 7 -- #3 


Step 2:  Complete #'s  3 and 4

#3.  Use the <img/> tag to insert a picture of a cat.
            **Click here to watch a tutorial

​#4.  Fix the broken <img/> tags to make the pictures appear.

Step 3:  Download an image from "Google images."

1.  Click here to get to Google Images.
2.  Search for a picture of any pet.
3.  Click once on it to make it big.
4.  Right-click on it, then click on "save image as..."
5.  Click on your Pictures folder, then click save.

Step 4:  Complete #5 on Code.Org

#5  Upload an image of any pet you want and add it to the web page using the <img/> tag.
